Thibaut Joltreau holds a PhD in Political Science (2023) from Sciences Po Bordeaux, France. He is currently a faculty member at EDHEC Business School, where he teaches geopolitics with a focus on contemporary international business issues.
Prior to joining EDHEC, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Toulouse Business School within the Horizon Europe project TWIN SEEDS. His research examines how geopolitical disruptions, industrial policies, and circular economy strategies are reshaping global value chains (GVCs) and business models. Originally rooted in policy analysis, his work engages in an interdisciplinary dialogue with international business and economic geography, with a particular focus on the relationship between industrial policies, firm strategies, and the evolving geography of production.
Thibaut has teaching experience across political studies institutes (Sciences Po Bordeaux), business schools (TBS Education), and engineering schools (Polytech Marseille), covering topics such as International Business and Global Value Chains, Circular Business Models, and Public Policy Analysis.
